Heather Broussard

Heather Broussard became a fifth grade teacher at OLQHS in 2000. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from McNeese State University in the fall of 1997. She began her teaching career teaching third grade at St. Mary’s Catholic School in League City, Texas and then moved to Calcasieu Parish where she also taught third grade. From there Mrs. Broussard joined Our Lady Queen of Heaven School where she has remained in fifth grade having taught all subjects throughout the years. She currently enjoys teaching both Social Studies and Religion in fifth grade. She and her husband, Jared Broussard, are both originally from Lake Charles, and they have two children who both attended OLQHS from the daycare through 8th grade. When Mrs. Broussard is not teaching, her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family!
