Our Lady Queen of Heaven School offers high-quality education for students beginning as young as 6 weeks old, through eighth grade. Since its founding in 1958, OLQHS continues to set the pace for excellence in Catholic education, focused on its mission of learning and living the Good News; fostering academic success for all students. Partnering with parents and the community, OLQHS challenges each student to develop his or her greatest potential – intellectually, culturally and spiritually through meaningful educational experiences.

With a gifted and dedicated faculty of 32 classroom teachers for grades PK - 8, as well as full-time Art, Spanish, Band, Music, Technology, and Physical Education teachers, OLQHS offers excellent learning opportunities, enhanced by enrichment studies and activities. Our Early Childhood Center houses 8 classrooms for our youngest students ranging from 6 weeks old - 4 years of age.

In the fall of 2014, OLQHS celebrated the opening of a newly constructed, state of the art, middle school building, as well as renovations occurring in 3rd grade, 4th grade, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classrooms. In 2016 the new Early Childhood Center building was completed. These building expansions allow OLQHS to provide all students with a new, modern and spacious learning environment, as well as room for growth and future development.

Asbestos Statement

Each year parents must be informed that the school has complied with all national standards regarding asbestos on campus. Certain vinyl floors and the panels that are below the quad windows will have to be handled appropriately if ever replaced. Our report indicates that existing asbestos is in good condition and we have the highest rating given. You are welcome to examine the asbestos file in the office if desired.
