Whitney Hanks

Whitney Hanks joined the staff of OLQHS in 2008 teaching Algebra 1 part-time.  Throughout her time at OLQHS, she has taught Algebra 1, 7th Grade Math, 8th Grade Math, and Pre-Algebra, and has been teaching Technology in the Middle School to 5th-8th grade since 2014.  She is an alumni of both OLQH School and St. Louis Catholic High School, and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from McNeese State University.  It was at McNeese that she met her husband, Brad.  They have three children, Cara, Jake, and Mia, all of which carried on the tradition of graduating from both OLQH School and St. Louis Catholic High School.  Her favorite part of OLQHS is the all school masses, where she feels a rich sense of spirituality and God’s presence.  In her time away from school, Whitney enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
