Pamela Fontenot

Mary Pamela Fontenot began her career at Our Lady Queen of Heaven School as an 8th grade homeroom teacher in the fall of 1980 as well as serving as the Student Council Advisor.  Two years later she became the Director of Religious Education for the school community.  She is an alumni of St. Edmund’s Catholic School in Eunice, La.  After completing her Bachelor’s degree at McNeese State University, she went on to do her graduate work at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, receiving her Master’s degree in Religious Education.  Through her many years as the advisor of the Student Council, she was inducted into the Advisor’s Hall of Fame by the Louisiana Association of Student Councils.  She is married to Rocky Fontenot and they have two grandchildren, Juliana, an alumni of OLQH School and St. Louis High School and Amelia, currently attending OLQH School.  Her lifelong motto:  “Celebrate Life!”
