September 1: School Update
Parents, we know everyone is trying to navigate through these difficult times. Please know that we are here for you. Your family's safety and your child's education remains our top priority. We would like to check in with each of you - please click here to fill out a brief survey to let us know how your family is doing.
We anticipate being able to resume classes on campus as soon as the utilities are restored to our city. In the meantime, our teachers will be working to provide distance education learning as we did last spring.
We know every family's capabilities are different at this time. If you are unable to have computer/internet access to successfully manage distance learning, we completely understand. This will be optional for our families. Your child's teacher will be reaching out to you soon to set up their first virtual meeting and begin instruction. There may be a few teachers that have limited access to the internet during this time - they will be working together with their counterparts to provide your child with the resources they need.
If you have relocated and will not be able attend OLQHS please contact us so we can assist you.
Continued prayers for our entire community. We will get through this and we look forward to when we can all be together at school again!
Prayerfully, Your OLQHS Administrative Team
August 29: School Closure Update
Parents, we wanted to let you know that we are suspending all FACTS tuition payments for the month of September. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you as we navigate through this time.
Our school had mainly damage to exterior structures, and our plan is to reopen as soon as possible once we are able to test electrical and mechanical systems when power and water are restored to the city.
We know this will be a long road to recovery for all in our community. Please let us know if your family has specific needs at this time. Please continue to pray for all in our area. We will work together through this day by day.
If you have friends that would like to directly support our OLQHS families, they can click here to make a donation (select hurricane relief). These funds will be used to support our families in need.
